Have you ever reached the point where you feel sick and tired of being sick and tired?
Not necessarily unwell enough for clear answers…But not feeling like yourself either.
You might be:
constantly tired
dealing with ongoing aches or inflammation
struggling with digestion
or just feeling like your body isn’t quite working the way it should
And over time, that feeling can become frustrating — especially when nothing seems to fully resolve it.
This is something I see often in clinic.
People who are doing their best to look after themselves, but still don’t feel quite right.
Sometimes, the advice out there can feel overwhelming — different opinions, long lists of things to try, and no clear starting point.
But what if supporting your health didn’t have to be so complicated?
Over time, through both training and experience, I’ve come to see things in a much simpler way.
It often comes down to two key steps:
👉 Reduce what is placing burden on the body
👉 Support the body with what it needs
Step One: Reducing the Burden on the Body
Your body is constantly working to maintain homeostasis, or balance
But modern life can place a lot of demand on it — often more than we realise.
For some people, this can show up as:
fatigue that doesn’t fully go away
recurring tension or discomfort
digestive issues
feeling run down or overwhelmed. Anxiety, anyone?
Often, it isn’t just one thing.
It’s a build-up of smaller, ongoing stressors.
These might include:
foods that don’t feel supportive for your body
nutritional imbalances
poor sleep quality
ongoing stress
environmental exposures such as EMFs
general lifestyle pressures
You don’t need to identify everything at once.
But gently becoming more aware of what may be placing extra demand on your body is a powerful first step.
Step Two: Giving the Body What It Needs
The body has an incredible ability to regulate, repair and rebalance.
But it does need the right support.
This doesn’t have to be complicated.
It often comes back to the foundations:
eating in a way that nourishes your body
ensuring you’re getting enough key nutrients
prioritising good quality sleep
allowing time for rest and recovery
supporting your nervous system
For some people, this may also include:
gentle, appropriate supplementation (where advised)
creating more consistent daily routines
making small, sustainable changes over time
It’s not about being perfect.
It’s about giving your body what it needs - consistently.
Why Looking at the Whole Body Matters
One of the most common things I see is people focusing on just one symptom.
For example:
trying to fix a painful area
focusing only on digestion
or managing stress in isolation
But the body doesn’t work in separate parts.
Everything is connected.
When you begin to:
reduce the burden on the body
and support it more effectively
you often start to notice changes across multiple areas — not just one.
You Don’t Have to Do Everything at Once
This is important.
Trying to change everything at the same time can feel overwhelming, and often isn’t sustainable.
Instead, it can help to ask:
👉 What is one small change I can make that would support my body right now?
Then build from there.
Small, consistent steps tend to create more lasting change than drastic short-term efforts.
Where Support Can Help
Sometimes, when you’re in the middle of it, it can be difficult to see the patterns clearly.
You might know something doesn’t feel right, but not be sure where to start or what to change.
This is where having support can make a real difference.
At Lisa Lomas Therapies, I take a whole-body approach — looking beyond individual symptoms to understand what may be contributing to how you’re feeling overall.
Alongside hands-on treatments, I also offer bioresonance and health-focused consultations, which can be accessed remotely. These sessions are designed to help you explore how your body may be responding to different stressors, and to guide a more personalised and manageable approach to supporting your wellbeing.
A Gentle Reminder
If you are experiencing ongoing or concerning symptoms, it’s always important to speak with your GP or a qualified healthcare professional.
This approach is about supporting your overall wellbeing — not replacing medical advice or diagnosis.
Final Thoughts
If you’ve been feeling stuck in that place of being “sick and tired of being sick and tired,” you’re not alone.
And it doesn’t always mean there’s something seriously wrong — sometimes it simply means your body is under more pressure than it can comfortably manage.
By gently reducing that burden, and giving your body the support it needs, things can begin to shift.
Not overnight. Not perfectly.
But often in a way that starts to feel more manageable — and you feel more like yourself again.
